We’re located in the Southeast neighborhood of Roanoke. It’s an awesome place to be. We’re 5 minutes from the downtown life of Roanoke City and nestled near the Mill Mountain Roanoke Star. Breathe in beautiful mountain views or hop downtown for some great food after Sunday Morning service!
We’re a church family of all ages. From young in age to “young at heart.” Feel free to let the “young at heart” give you a good laugh during the pre-service countdown-entertaining you with stories of life experiences; or sit back, relax, and read any announcement/update slides as you wait for service to begin.
Our worship style is a blend of newer music and classic songs. There is a little bit for everyone! Our focus in worship is not the style, but instead on proclaiming the goodness of God and inviting him to meet with us. Some people like to clap or raise their hands to praise God while singing, but you're welcome to worship however you are most comfortable.
Our main worship service starts at 10:30 AM on Sunday mornings. We encourage you to show up a little early in order to find a good seat and visit with people as you settle in. If you can't make it in person, we live stream all of our services on Youtube and Facebook. You can even catch them on the "Watch" tab at the top of this page.
We have many other ministries that take place throughout the week including Small Groups (Sundays at 5 PM), Adult Bible Study (Sundays at 9:30 AM), Women's Bible Study (Wednesdays at 10:00 AM), Community Food Pantry (Wednesdays at 6:00 PM), and more!
Wear what you’d wear out and about any other day of the week, or “dud-up” and dress to the nines! It’s completely up to you. You can even wear your pajamas!… if you are watching us online :)
Children are welcome in our worship services. We even encourage families to participate in the first half of our Sunday morning service together. Just before the sermon starts, kids are dismissed to attend Children's Church. We offer age-appropriate lessons for a group of preschoolers and school-aged children. Both groups meet in our Children's Chapel, located down the stairs in the foyer. We don't look at it as "babysitting" but an opportunity for us to minister to your kids and help them come to know Jesus! You're also welcome to keep your children in the main service if you'd prefer. Our pastor loves having kids in the service! For the babies- Our nursery is open every Sunday morning (ages: birth to potty-trained).
All of our volunteers have undergone extensive child safety training, and we run yearly background checks and fingerprinting in order to ensure the safety of our children and teenagers.
Please check out the "Children" tab under "Ministries" for more information.
Our youth meet every Wednesday night at 6 PM in the Youth Room (lower-level of the Family Life Center). Youth Groups is designed to be a fun and engaging time for your teens to get to know what it means to have a relationship with Jesus and to grow closer to Him. Our gathering usually consists of dinner, a fun game, and a relevant and engaging lesson. Our prayer is that your teenager would be equipped spiritually, Biblically, emotionally, and relationally to be a faithful follower of Jesus in an ever-changing world.
