She is an excellent communicator of God's Love who is especially passionate about helping kids learn more about Jesus and His love for them.
Joyce Williams
Director of Evangelism and Senior Adult Ministry
Joyce was saved as a little girl at Roanoke First, when her family was invited to start attending our church. Over the years she and her late-husband, Gene, served in many different ministries across the US and even around the world. Joyce has authored several books and is particularly excited to help reach the lost through evangelism throughout her hometown. We cannot wait to see how God will use Joyce in her new role here at Roanoke First!
Latishia Patterson
Director of Shepherd's Care Day School
Tish has been serving at Roanoke First for the last fourteen years. She is married to Jason, and is the proud mother of Jalen and Amari. Tish manages the day-to-day operations of our daycare and staff. She is a dynamo who is not afraid to get her hands dirty! You can find Tish on a softball field or boating on Smith Mountain Lake with her family. Watch for Tish on Sunday mornings, as she's recently joined our worship team as a singer!
Becky Dunman
Assistant Administrator
Becky and her husband Wayne have been an integral part of Roanoke First for many years. Her title may be "Assistant Administrator" but this doesn't begin to cover all that she does! If you have a question about our church, you can get the right answer from Becky. The Dunman's, when they aren't serving the church, are running Dunman Floral. They enjoy spending time with their wonderful family and catching a Salem Red Sox or Rail Yard Dawgs game.
