Our Youth Group is a place where students can belong, be known, and grow in their faith. We meet every Wednesday evening from 5:45–7:15 PM in the Youth Room on the lower level of our Family Life Center, located at 801 Highland Ave. This ministry is open to students in grades 6–12.
Each Wednesday night begins with what we call “Family Dinner.” Dinner is always provided and is intentionally shared together to foster a sense of community, connection, and togetherness. After dinner, students enjoy a fun game or icebreaker, followed by a relevant, worthwhile Bible lesson designed to meet teens where they are in real life—addressing their questions, challenges, and faith with honesty and care.
Our Youth Group is led by Allyse Dunlop, our pastor’s wife. Allyse has a minor in Youth Ministry, a master’s degree in Psychology, and over 10 years of experience working with youth ministries and providing counseling in local schools. Her leadership combines biblical grounding, compassion, and a deep understanding of adolescent development.
We believe our youth are a vital part of the church, not a separate or sidelined group. Because of that, we intentionally include them in the life of the church—from Sunday morning worship to church potlucks and special events—helping them build relationships across generations.
In addition to weekly gatherings, we also plan regular fun and meaningful events throughout the year. These include summer youth camp, special outings, and an annual youth retreat each January. These experiences help deepen friendships, strengthen faith, and create lasting memories.
If you’re looking for a place where students are welcomed, challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow in Christ, we would love for your family to join us.
